Rebels Rescue needs you! Below are just a few ways you can help...
Become a Foster Parent! Rebels Rescue foster parents save hundreds of animals per year Fosters provide a safe and nurturing environment for cats, kittens and dogs that are rescued from kill shelters or found living outside. They provide socialization for shy animals and a chance for sick animals to recover. We ask that foster parents provide the basic essentials for their foster animals, (i.e. food, litter, toys, etc.) All veterinary care and necessary medications will be provided by Rebels.
Note: Fostering is an incredibly rewarding experience that requires a real commitment. The emotional demands of fostering can be difficult and should be seriously discussed with all family members.
Help with Adoption Events! Adoption events are a vital part of helping our animals find their fur-ever homes. Adoption support volunteers help socialize our animals, tell their stories to prospective adopters and even complete the adoption process! Volunteers interact with the animals so it is important you are comfortable handling a cat within the cage.
Manage our Social Media! Turn your screen-time into volunteer-time helping animals! Social media is a great way to spread the word and help connect potential adopters with their new best friends! Post compelling stories and photos about our adoptables and see how many likes, shares and re-tweets you can get!
Fundraise! Rebels Rescue relies on adoptions, donations and fundraisers in order to help as many animals as possible. You can plan, staff or participate in fundraisers and events to generate support. Hold a drive at your school or in your community!
Provide Animal Transport! Unable to foster but still want to help? Transport Animals in need of rescue and/or to vet appointments. All you need is a flexible schedule and a vehicle.
