Little Ricky started out scared, not sure how he ended up that way, found outside and brought to Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. But with the help of his new dog friend Phoebe, and love and guidance from his new foster mom, he is adjusting well to his new foster home.

He loves going on walks, especially the long ones and does well on his leash. He is getting used to car rides and is well behaved in the car. He did pick up a bad habit from his friend Phoebe and barks when she starts barking at other dogs and their people. However, when we walked through the crowds and pirates at Ballast Point, they were very well behaved and enjoyed getting pets and attention from everyone. Maybe the more people the better!

Little Ricky lives with lots of cats and kittens and sometimes likes to chase after them; not to hurt them, he just wants to play. Mostly they just hang out together. He and Phoebe love to run and play in the yard, so he would like a big yard at his new home.

He is mostly house trained, with just a few accidents while he was getting used to his new home.

Finally, he is up to date on vaccines and heart worm negative.

Little Ricky will be at our adoption events Pet Supermarket in Britton Plaza, South Tampa every other Saturday from 10 to 3 so come out and meet him. Check our website for specific dates
