A Celebration of Lives Saved: Honoring Ish Ramos Sunday April 13th, 2025 12:30 PM until 03:00 PM Location: C. 1949 Map: 6905 N Orleans Ave Tampa FL 33604 Join us Sunday April 13th for a special community gathering to honor and remember Ish, a beloved volunteer, veteran, and hero whose legacy lives on through every life he touched—human, cat, and dog alike. This isn't a memorial, as Ish humbly wished, but rather a Celebration of Lives Saved—a tribute to the countless lives changed because of his compassion, bravery, and tireless work, both during his time in Vietnam as a U.S. Airborne Ranger and later through his unwavering dedication to animal rescue. Whether you knew Ish personally or were simply moved by his dedication and passion, we invite you to come together with us to celebrate what he stood for: love, service, and second chances. Let's honor his legacy and support the rescue community he helped build. We will have a breakfast sandwich bar, delectable baked goodies and of course c. 1949 will be serving up local, national and international craft beers! The suggested donation is $10. Your donation helps cover food costs and supports Rebels Rescue in continuing Ish's mission to save lives. Let's gather, share stories, and continue the work Ish started. His love for animals and people will never be forgotten—and his impact will carry on through each life we continue to save. All are welcome. 'Tis the season for holiday magic!! Join us on Saturday, December 6th for an extra special adoption event featuring a Santa Pawtrait photo op for your very own pets! The jolly man himself will be available for photos from 11a to 2p with adoptable cats and dogs available to meet and adopt from 10a to 3p. We will also have goodies for kids and dogs! As always, the adoption event is free to attend. Photos with Santa are free with a suggested small financial or can of cat/dog food donation.

Free PhotosAll pet photos with Santa are completely free! A small financial donation or a can of dog/cat food is suggested but never required. Your presence, your pet, and your holiday spirit are more than enough. 
Bring Your Pets!Pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities are welcome to stop by and get their festive portraits taken. Whether you want a classic Christmas photo or a silly Santa moment, we’ve got you covered!
