Is Rebels Rescue a 501(c)(3) charity?

Yes, Rebels Rescue, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Our Tax ID (EIN) is 46-3842112. We are also registered in Florida as a charity under registration number CH40001. Your support makes a direct impact on the lives of animals in need, and we are grateful for every contribution!

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, Rebels Rescue is a registered nonprofit and all charitable contributions are tax-deductible. After making a donation you will receive a tax receipt by email.

What portion of donations goes to helping the animals?

Approximately 95% of donations in 2024 went directly toward caring for the animals in our foster program, covering essential needs such as veterinary care, food, and supplies. With only 5% allocated to overhead costs, you can feel confident that your support is making a meaningful impact in the lives of the animals we rescue!

How will my donation be used?

Your donation goes directly toward the care of the animals—covering food, veterinary care (spay/neuter, microchips, vaccines, dentals, sick visits, medication, flea & heartworm medications, dewormers), shelter, and other necessities to help them thrive while they await adoption.

Can I set up a recurring donation?

Absolutely! We offer the option to set up recurring monthly or annual donations, ensuring consistent support for our rescue efforts.

Can I donate in honor or memory of a loved one?

Absolutely! On the donation form check the box for "Make this donation in honor or in memory of someone" and then enter their name in the text field provided.

What if I’d like to make a large donation or set up a legacy gift?

We are incredibly grateful for larger contributions and legacy gifts! Please contact us directly to discuss your intentions, and we can work with you to ensure your gift has the greatest impact possible.

Do you accept donations of stocks, bonds, or other assets?

Yes, Rebels Rescue accepts donations of stocks, bonds, and other assets. These types of gifts can provide a tax advantage for you while supporting our mission. Please reach out to us directly for more information on how to make these types of donations.

Do you accept matching donations?

Yes, Rebels Rescue gladly accepts matching donations! Many employers offer matching gift programs, allowing your donation to go even further in helping the animals. Check with your employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program, and if so, you may be able to double or even triple your impact.

What types of supplies can I donate?

Donating supplies is a great way to support the animals at Rebels Rescue. You can help by purchasing much-needed items directly from our Amazon, Chewy, or Walmart wishlists. We also gladly accept gently used items such as blankets, toys, treats, and other pet essentials that your pets no longer need. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps provide comfort and care to the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Can I drop off supplies in person?

You can drop off supplies at one of our upcoming adoption events. If you cannot drop off the supplies, please contact us to arrange for someone to pick them up.
